**Your New Role**
As an EL1 Assistant Director Evidence-based Practice (Labour Hire), you will be responsible for using your expertise in evidence-based practice, knowledge translation and implementation science to support Agency projects. You will also be involved in working with internal and external stakeholders to translate research into actions, leading internal capability activities designed to support evidence informed decision-making, developing resources to communicate research findings, supporting implementation of evidence-based approaches into policy and practice, maintaining project records using research software or platforms, and preparing and presenting internal reports and recommendations.
**What You'll Need To Succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, education) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the disability sector in Australia or internationally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports and summaries for different audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information from various sources.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading and managing a small team or project.
