Founded in 2004, Total Harvesting is a locally owned and operated business with operation centres in Albany, Bunbury, Yornup and Esperance. We log, chip and haul Bluegum and pine products under various contracts in W.A.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking to fill a number of Full-Time Permanent Logging Plant Operators positions across the Bunbury, Yornup, and Albany regions, including Skidder, buncher and chipper operators.
We maintain a fleet of production and haulage vehicles, and pride ourselves on the standards we achieve. The roles on offer are within a relatively unsupervised small team position, operating in a high-volume contracting environment.
What you will be doing:
* Perform prestart functions and requirements. All startup procedures must be followed in accordance with the operator's manual.
* Daily greasing and light maintenance of machine in line with operator's manual.
* Preparation, positioning and operating in plantation coupes of mechanised equipment.
* Fell, debark (if required), Bunch, Extract, Load, Chip or Stack of product.
* Interact with fellow operators infield.
* Adhere to all company work rules and procedures, along with provided codes of conduct and operation and chain of responsibility requirements.
You will have:
* At least 1 years' relevant experience in the operation of forestry equipment
* Experience working to targets and maintaining an optimal autonomous work ethic.
* Ability to undertake basic mechanical repairs including hydraulic hoses and greasing
* Ability to work in a small team and also unsupervised.
* Adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Good verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements
* Ability to undertake a full medical prior to employment.
* Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing will apply.
