About the role
If you've clicked on the advert, you know what the aim of a residential youth worker is. It's about fostering positive relationships, providing a nurturing and safe home environment, supporting your colleagues and being a role model for young people in care.
There are also the elements of homemaking, administration, crisis management, travel support, organisation and everything else that comes with supporting young people in a home environment.
You will require either
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention qualification, including four (4) additional mandatory competencies units (Residential Care Skill Set)
* A relevant Cert IV, Diploma or Bachelor including four (4) additional mandatory competencies units (Residential Care Skill Set).

The KEYS Program
Keep Embracing Your Success (KEYS) is a multidisciplinary residential service program working with young people ages 12-17yrs old, to transition out of residential care and into long term stable accommodations.
As part of the KEYS program, you will work within a broader team of staff and other key professionals to provide individually tailored therapeutic programs such as HEALing Matters and ERIC, to help young people develop skills and a positive personal vision and future goals, all the while, ensuring that their wellbeing and safety is maintained.
