Your Opportunity
As the Reporting & Systems Officer, Commercial Business you will:
* Coordinate all reporting activities aligned to the Commercial Business Framework, including Operational Reporting, Core Plan Reporting, B2B CRM Reporting, and other associated reporting requirements. This role is situated within the Corporate Commercial Business Team and ensures timely, accurate, and strategic reporting that supports decision-making and compliance.
This position reports to the Director, Commercial Business.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.
The position will be based primarily at South Brisbane, however this role can be performed at any TQ campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely and accurate reporting that supports decision-making and enhances transparency within the Commercial Business network in alignment to the Commercial Business Framework.
* Coordinate the development of regular reports on TAFE Queensland Commercial operations, including performance metrics, financial performance, risk indicators and milestone tracking aligned to the Commercial Business Reporting Framework.
* Consolidate quarterly updates aligned to TAFE Queensland's reporting requirements including the Commercial Business Core Plan and Operational Plan, in consultation with the Commercial Business Network.
* Provide oversight and coordination of systems that support the implementation and operation of the Commercial Business Framework, including the B2B CRM, Commercial Business Team Site, and others as approved by the Executive Director, Commercial Business and/or Director Commercial Business.
* Engage with relevant teams across TAFE Queensland to gather data, validate insights, and support the creation of comprehensive reports in approved systems e.g. Power Bi.
* Track and monitor all Commercial Business opportunities across the organisation, ensuring visibility and alignment with strategic objectives escalating risks and issues to senior management as required.
* Provide access, training, and technical support to all staff utilising commercial business systems; liaising with key user groups and ICT staff as required.
* Prepare briefs, reports and submissions on specific issues as required by the Executive Director, Commercial Business and/or Director Commercial Business in response to organisational strategies and priorities.
* Support the maintenance of Commercial Business systems and procedures as directed by senior members of the Commercial Business team.
* Extract, analyse, and report data from the B2B CRM system to support Commercial Business activities and performance tracking.
* Maintain effective, professional communications and working relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders including Opportunity and Tender Coordinators, Business Development Officers, Business Development Managers and other Executive leaders within the Commercial Business network.
* Maintain and apply a working knowledge of financial and business performance metrics, including budget variance analysis, revenue forecasting, and the financial impact of external market factors.

* Proven experience in financial and operational reporting, commercial analysis, and translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data systems and reporting tools including continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Highly Desirable Requirements
* B2B CRM Systems.
* Project Management Software (e.g., cloud-based platforms).
* Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
* Financial reporting and business reporting metrics and frameworks.
