Job Title: Registered Nurse - Mirani
Practice Information:
Privately GP owned with 2 full time GPs. AGPAL Accredited. Mixed billing. Daily Pathology. Local Nursing Home - 5 minute walk from the clinic. Full support from onsite management, IT and administration. Solid team of friendly and experienced long-term staff.
Position Description:
Perform clinical duties within required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence. Explain procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassurance. Duties include triage, immunisations and wound management, chronic disease management, using diagnostic equipment such as ECG's, Spirometry, ABPM etc; collection of pathology samples; and sterilisation. Assist doctors with clinical procedures. Maintain clinical documentation.
Work 26 hours per fortnight and will need to cover holiday and sick leave for their other nurse.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Appropriate registration certificate and professional indemnity cover.
- Training can be given for applicants with reduced experience.
- Successful applicant will be required to have some immunisations.
