Your role within the team Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, this role partners closely with stakeholders across the business to support performance and drive sustainable growth. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide clear financial insights and analysis to inform decision‑making and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. You will play a key role in translating data into practical recommendations that support commercially sound outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as a strategic Finance Business Partner to Sales leadership, building strong relationships and providing commercial insight to drive performance and decision‑making.
Lead the IBP Portfolio Review process in partnership with key stakeholders, elevating the quality of financial and commercial insights and embedding a culture of accountability across cross‑functional teams.
Own financial governance of NPD initiatives, partnering cross‑functionally to develop and challenge Stage Gate business cases, ensuring robust, insight‑led P&Ls for executive approval.
End‑to‑end annual budgeting process, including setting assumptions, stress‑testing growth plans, and aligning investment priorities across channels partnered with.
Oversee period‑end close activities (monthly, half‑year, year‑end), ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and integrity of accruals.
Act as the Finance lead across key business forums, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and confidently challenging forecasts, risks, and opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance visibility, efficiency, and commercial outcomes.

Proven experience in Commercial Finance, ideally within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments.
Strong business partnering capability, with a track record of influencing non‑financial stakeholders and driving commercial outcomes.
Experience across pricing, marketing, and sales finance, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Exposure to complex, multi‑channel and/or multi‑region business environments.
Experience with demand forecasting tools (Blueshift highly regarded) and integrating forecasts into financial planning.
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accreditation.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with strong scenario planning capability.
Deep understanding of key P&L drivers, including pricing, COGS, and operating expenses.
Experience with ERP and reporting tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, and Blueshift (preferred).
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to distil complex data into clear, commercially relevant insights.
