This hybrid position is based in our South Bank, QLD HQ.About The RoleAs a Business Development Manager at Flight Centre Business Travel, you will manage the entire business development cycle, from identifying prospects to pitching our services and securing new client partnerships, ultimately expanding our client portfolio.Your primary responsibilities will include:Proactively identifying and engaging potential clients: Seek out new business opportunities and initiate contact with companies that could benefit from our comprehensive travel solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships across a multitude of role types, nurturing these connections to reinforce FCBT as a preferred and reliable partner.Understanding their needs and presenting FCBT's offering: Engage with prospects to uncover their corporate travel requirements, booking behaviours, and pain points.
Showcase the benefits of FCBT's offering, clearly articulating how our solution can streamline their travel programs, save time, reduce costs, and support their business growth.Supporting new clients through onboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process to ensure new clients are well-integrated into our system and comfortable with our services.
Introduce them to their dedicated travel team for direct access to support and expert advice from the outset.What We're Looking For1+ year experience working in a BDM role, heavily focused on B2B Sales/Development or experience working in a Sales role within the Travel & Tourism sectorAn individual who thrives in a sales environment, is self-motivated, driven, and has a passion for delivering sales targets and achieving KPIsExperience in selling a solution across various role types and a demonstrated ability to close opportunitiesThe ability to manage external and internal stakeholders through strong communication and delivery of outcomesExtra points if you're a master of networking, lead generation and have impressive communication and presentation skillsWhat's in it for you?
