The Opportunity
This position will be a Finance department "all-rounder" and to be successful in this role, you will be someone that has a wide range of accounting skills combined with previous commercial experience in the following:
Responsibilities
Back up to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable; assist the Accounts Payable Officer in the processing of invoices.
Assist Accountants in month-end reporting, journals, reconciliations and analysis.
Preparation of Statutory Obligations including FBT, BAS, Payroll tax.
Any other finance activities as required.
Calculation and processing of rebate accruals and claims; maintain rebate module.
Administer and process payroll and other payroll requirements.
Qualifications
Accounting degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
CPA or CA qualification (or currently being undertaken).
Strong communication skills and be both energetic and engaging with a strong commercial focus.
Ability to work in a team, displaying a positive attitude whilst under pressure.
Proven attention to detail in processing high volume of data with demonstrated attitude and thoroughness of work standards.
Proven ability to work autonomously, using initiative and taking responsibility in completing tasks.
Strong experience with mainstream ERP systems, Excel and other software packages; advanced competency in MS office packages.
Excellent administrative and time management skills as you will be working on multiple projects at one time.
Access to your own transport for the daily commute to the site; plenty of free on-site parking available.
