CGC Recruitment is partnering with a well established high end residential builder based in North Sydney and work across the Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches.
This builder is known for delivering architecturally designed homes and boutique apartment developments, with a strong focus on design-led construction, premium finishes, and exceptional craftsmanship. They work closely with some of Australia's leading architects and interior designers to create refined, contemporary homes tailored to modern living.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, including a $13m new build home in Mosman, they are now looking to bring on a Leading Hand Carpenter with ambitions to step into a Foreman role.
You will work closely with the Site Manager and other trades to help deliver high-end residential builds to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate carpentry teams on-site
* Read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
* Set out works and ensure builds are delivered to plan
* Assist with day-to-day site supervision and trade coordination
* Deliver high-quality finishes in line with luxury standards
* Manage materials, site logistics, and workflow
* Maintain WHS compliance and site safety
* Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
* Support the Site Manager in driving program and quality
Requirements
* Qualified Carpenter with solid residential construction experience
* Proven background in high-end / luxury homes
* Strong ability to read and interpret plans and details
* Previous Leading Hand experience (or ready to step up)
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Good communication and leadership skills
