About The Role 
As part of the ongoing implementation of Fire Services Reform within Victoria, CFA initiated a comprehensive review of its Operating Model in 2022. The review involved extensive consultation with CFA members and stakeholders over an 8-month period, resulting in the identification of a range of initiatives to be undertaken over multiple years. 
To undertake this critical work, CFA is seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our dedicated Program team. 
Key responsibilities of the role will include: 
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of assigned projects. 
- Develop and manage project documentation including briefs, plans, schedules, and risk assessments. 
- Provide strong leadership in governance, stakeholder engagement, and team coordination. 
- Monitor project performance, quality assurance, and compliance. 
- Identify risks and issues early and develop effective mitigation strategies. 
- Deliver high-quality reporting and advice to the Program Manager and executive stakeholders. 
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes. 
- Track budget and ensure alignment with broader program strategy and objectives.
