About the Division
The Business Grants Hub (BGH) is responsible for the design and management of grant programs on behalf of 10 other Commonwealth departments.
We manage over $7 billion in government investment in Australian businesses and provide an end-to-end grant delivery service using a national network.

The Opportunity
We are seeking candidates who are interested in working for DISR to expand their career as a Grants Officer.
Fundamentally, you will have a keen interest in grant delivery and management, demonstrate integrity and uphold ethics and values.
You will also have excellent customer service skills and a commitment to high standards of service delivery.
Your Role
* Undertake program delivery activities
* Manage contracts with businesses and organisations across multiple programs
* Communicate and engage effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Use internal systems and tools for grants, contract and customer relationship management and ensure input of quality information and data
Grants Officers undertake tasks of moderate complexity under general direction and assist in the delivery of public-facing government programs.
In addition to the general duties outlined above you will:
* Undertake eligibility assessments of grant applications and assess reports in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines, justifying recommendations with appropriate evidence.
* Respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner.
Eligibility
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
