Our client is a highly recognizable FMCG business that has established a large presence internationally as well as being a dominant player in the Australian market. Working within a high-calibre finance division, this presents as an excellent progression opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Analyst to join the team.
Reporting into the Group Commercial Manager, your focus will be on the following:
- Partner with Sales teams to identify, influence and support ways to maximise customer profitability
- Partner with the product and Marketing teams, assisting with financial analysis, product profitability analysis and ensuring costs are in line with assumptions
- Weekly KPI reporting to senior management with accompanying recommendations & analysis
- Commercial analysis of financial information including sales & margin analysis
- Assist Finance Team in building models to enhance Financial Reporting and output of Financial Information
- Identifying and executing process improvement opportunities
- Involved with strategy and providing insights in order to improve business performance
Our client is looking to attract an ambitious analyst who has had experience working within a large retail/FMCG company or is looking to make their first move out of Big 4. You will have excellent analytical capabilities and be a confident communicator who can engage with and influence non-financial stakeholders.
Additionally, you will possess an enthusiastic & ambitious attitude which allows you to work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team.
