As a Disability Support Worker, you have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disability.
The role involves working one-on-one or in groups, supporting adults with disability in their homes and occasionally in the community. You will work closely with individuals to implement personalized plans that address their specific needs and goals.
No two days are ever the same as you might support clients with:
* achieving their goals
* daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility
* overnight care

Requirements for Success
We're looking for passionate and motivated individuals who share our values and have:
* a positive approach, initiative and self-motivation
* willingness to be committed to empowering our clients to reach their goals
* effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients
* ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
* willingness to support clients with personal care activities
* Australian Driver Licence
* the right to work in Australia
* The ability to get a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don't already have one.
What We Offer
A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience or an interest in community services would be advantageous. However, we also provide excellent training and support, and can even assist you in working and studying. Our goal is to empower you to succeed in this rewarding role.
