About the job:
1. Hunter Equipment Service is located on the Wallsend Campus, with satellite sites located across the HNELHD. We have a wonderful team of dynamic individuals who are passionate about client care. HES is responsible for the provision of equipment items that facilitate timely discharge from the Hospital.
2. Our Equipment Support Officers play many vital roles on our team! They are responsible for cleaning our equipment items, as well as delivering items to client homes, and collecting these items at the end of the hire period. The ESO’s also complete basic repairs and maintenance on the equipment items and ensure that the warehouse is neat and tidy at all times. The ESO’s work closely with patients, carers and their families in the community.
3. The successful candidate will be part of a larger, well-skilled team.
4. In this role you will be supported by an onsite Service Manager and Team Leader, as well as their other team members.
5. There is some computer work required in this role, as well as the use of other technology (such as scanners and mobile phones). This role incorporates a large amount of driving across our beautiful LHD.
6. Regular team meetings are held, and annual performance reviews are completed. On the job training opportunities are provided as indicated.
