As part of this project, you will play a crucial role in configuring, testing, integrating, and commissioning the CCTV system, Digital Video Management System (DVMS), and Automatic Incident Detection (AID) System.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Review specific designs or design changes items based on the Project requests, requirements, and scope;
* Examining and testing CCTV and AID equipment and control systems to diagnose faults
* Conduct systems (CCTV, DVMS, AID) implementation, configuration, testing and commissioning activities;
* Troubleshooting and replacing defective parts or equipment including test operating and adjusting devices.
* Prepare technical documentation including reports, requirements traceability, asset and cable registers, drawings, configuration schedules and testing and commissioning documents, including test cases and requirements traceability matrix;
* Monitoring and control timeliness of testing cases and the outputs and liaise with testers to ensure the adequacy and accuracy of the testing procedures;
* Assisting other Project systems with any interfaces with the CCTV, DVMS and AID;
* Interfacing with cross disciplines and external information and documents;
* Liaising with client and third-party subcontractors and vendors on aspects of the design, testing and commissioning;
* Work collaboratively from the project testing facility, office & from home (during business hours) as needed to comply with project requirements.
* Provide operating and maintenance training and procedures to users and operators
Requirements
The preferred candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field of engineering (electronics, electrical, ICT…) or equivalent experience
* Experience in design, integration, testing, commissioning, and delivery of CCTV (IP Cameras) and DVMS systems (GENETEC highly desirable) and AID System (Citilog desirable)
* Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting third-party vendor software in bare metal servers and virtualized environments (preferably video related software) with IP/Analogue cameras is desirable
* Site/technical support experience and the ability to conduct complex troubleshooting tasks
* Experience taking part in testing (FAT, IFAT, SAT and SIT) and commissioning activities on infrastructure projects is highly desirable
* Experience in ITS/tunnel and OMCS projects is desirable
* Knowledge of IP CCTV system and cameras (preferably AXIS)
* Knowledge of Genetec Video Management software
* Knowledge of Citilog AID software
* Knowledge of communication networks is desirable
* Knowledge of IT systems engineering (backend configuration and server virtualization) is desirable
