Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of key infrastructure projects, contributing to strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will provide technical oversight and engineering support for construction projects, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality assurance. They will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
The engineer will analyze and interpret engineering design documents, specifications, and drawings to identify and resolve technical issues. They will also prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and progress updates for senior management and clients.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or a related field
* Previous experience in a similar engineer role, ideally within the infrastructure industry
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound engineering decisions
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders
