The Opportunity
As the Quality, Risk & Assurance Manager, you will manage the delivery of quality, risk & governance initiatives across the organisation, with strategic guidance from the Executive Manager – Quality, Risk & Assurance. Our programs include community care, independent living accommodation, assisted living, residential care, hotel services and operations. You will lead the implementation and monitoring of frameworks, systems, and improvement projects that ensure compliance, strengthen clinical governance, and enhance service quality. This role is a full-time opportunity working on our picturesque campus in semi-rural Grasmere.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation of the organisation’s Quality Management System
* Leading assigned projects within the Quality, Risk & Assurance portfolio.
* Coordinate the monitoring and maintenance of the organisation’s Risk Management Framework and Risk Register.
* Coordinate internal audits and accreditation evidence collation.
* Supporting change management activities, including communication, education, and stakeholder engagement.
* Coordinate the compiling of trend reports and data for quality, management & executive review.
* Remaining up to date with sector best practice and provide feedback to the Quality Risk & Assurance Executive Manager.
About You
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aged care, ideally within residential aged care facilities.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, aged care, business, or related discipline.
* Strong understanding of aged care regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
* Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects, preparing reports, and supporting accreditation processes.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven problem-solving ability, commitment to continuous improvement, and ethical practice.
* Experience with ISO standards, accreditation frameworks, &/or governance systems.
* Knowledge of risk management tools, reporting systems, and incident management processes.
* Exposure to leading or mentoring teams within a quality or compliance setting.
