**About The Opportunity**:
As a Sustainability Consultant, you will have an opportunity to lead commercial projects in a fast-growing and customer-centric ESD consultancy firm. You will be part of the ESD consulting team, focusing on exceptional project delivery and profitability, as well as guiding clients through green rating requirements and net-zero strategies.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Willingness to learn and implement new tools and systems in line with the job requirements
- Deliver state-of-the-art projects across commercial, residential and mixed uses
- Regularly auditing project delivery process, reports, compliance and business risks and opportunities
- Foster a fun and collaborative culture within your team and the organisation
**About You**:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture with a specialisation in sustainable building design and construction or related fields
- Thorough understanding of sustainability compliance measures including NCC Section J and ability to undertake JV3 modelling
- Good understanding of NABERS Energy & Water
- Experience in technical design documentation and reporting
- The ability to express technical information in writing and through visual aids such as Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, etc.
It would also be desirable to have:
- Knowledge of building physics tools such as Rhino, Design Builder, IES VE
- Ability to carry out and draw inferences from energy modelling, daylight and shading studies
- Exposure to green building rating tools such as Green Star and WELL
- NABERS Energy modelling experience
- A collaborator and team player passionate about sustainable building design, inspired by a vision of a net-zero future
