The Role
Austrade is seeking an Enterprise Architect to oversee and manage its technology strategy. As Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for developing the Austrade Digital and Technology Strategy, managing the Austrade architecture team, ensuring compliance with standards and patterns and overseeing Austrade's architecture governance.
Duties Include
* As the senior member of the Digital Architecture and Platforms management team, provide detailed strategic advice on all matters relating to the capabilities and limitations of technology in support of Austrade's business functions.
* Develop an extensive understanding of Austrade's onshore and offshore business functions, individual business units and their respective drivers, issues and requirements.
* In consultation with key stakeholders, develop, deliver and maintain a business outcomes focused ICT strategic plan and Enterprise Architecture, taking into account the regulatory environment in which Austrade operates.
* Manage and guide the Architecture team to ensure maintenance of architecture best practices and alignment with technology direction. Mentor and coach other architects.
* Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure technological change is done in alignment with architectural patterns and the ICT strategy.
* Maintain architecture governance within Austrade to ensure alignment of new systems to architectural patterns and standards.
* Foster technology focused strategic relationships with other government agencies and technology suppliers.
* Work as part of the Austrade management team to contribute to service delivery while supporting the practice of diversity in the workplace, ethical practice and occupational health and safety principles.
