Our ability to provide a start-to-finish service ensures short turn-around times and unbeatable customisation.ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for coatings, apply coatings according to company work methods, clean and maintain equipment.Perform routine painting and coating duties within the manufacturing or warehouse plant, including specialized projects such as painting/coating structures, inspections, clean-ups, proper storage and disposal of coating products.Apply protective coatings to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork; carry out quality checks of coated products as required.Assist with daily dispatch priorities, communicating with administrative, sales and manufacturing staff to meet delivery, lead-time, cost, and quality requirements.Assist with product assembly using basic hand tools and fixings; pick and pack orders across pallets, cartons and satchels to minimize freight sizes.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage and a tidy, safe workspace.Comply with all legal and ethical standards, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment regulations, policies and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain an efficient and effective work environment.Qualifications & CertificationCurrent driver's licence (preferred).
Current forklift licence or ability to obtain one (preferred).
Practical experience and demonstrated knowledge of sandblasting, surface preparation, applying coatings and painting in specialised areas and work environments.Knowledge of safe use, storage and disposal of paint, cleaning products, chemicals and safe cleanup techniques and practices.Ability to use manual hand tools for assembly tasks.Well-developed organisational skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent work ethic, time-management skills and strong attention to detail.Good interpersonal communication skills and a basic computer skill set.Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a good command of English (both verbal and written).
