What\'s The Role
We\'re seeking an experienced Local Driver\'s to join our Mildura team. These full time roles work dayshift across Monday - Saturday. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. Lindsay Transport is Australia\'s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. We\'re part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.
Responsibilities
* Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
* Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
* Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
* Teamwork & Communication - Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
* Good Work Ethic - Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go.
* Quality Checks & Control - Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
What You'll Bring
* Current and valid HC or MC licence.
* Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
* A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
* Well presented, professional and reliable.

To be successful for this role
* Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
* Provide a current traffic print out
* Be willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish times
