OverviewOne of our Federal Government clients is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer as part of their recent long-term initiatives.
You will implement and manage the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
The Infrastructure Engineer capacity analyst will conduct a right-sizing exercise for several IT infrastructure platforms and establish regular capacity right-sizing review cycles to adjust the size and capacity of priority ICT environments.Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to be found suitable with Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one.The role is open to Canberra and Sydney locations.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:Identify, review, and measure existing capacity allocation and utilisation of priority ICT environments.Develop data collection or monitoring solutions to meet business requirements.Implement data collection methods across different platforms and technologies.Implement data collection feeds from other monitoring tools and configuration databases (Grafana, VROPS, Elastic, Prometheus, etc).Technical SkillsIT InfrastructureProvisions/installs, configures, and maintains infrastructure services and components.Monitors, measures, and reports on infrastructure load, performance, and security events.Programming/software developmentDesigns, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends, and refactors simple programs/scripts.Systems installation and removalInstalls or removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools, including handover to the client.Uses standard procedures and diagnostic tools to test installations, correct problems, and document results.What is on Offer:12-month contract with extension options.Canberra/Sydney based Federal Government role.Flexible WFH options available through discussion.How to applyIf you would like additional information on this role, please contact Zainab on ****** or apply through the links provided.Follow Calleo on LinkedIn and visit our website to keep up to date on all our current job vacancies: is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage applications from all people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
