Randstad Defence is currently partnering with one of Australia's leading defence organisations to secure exceptional talent for a key project in maritime construction. We are seeking an experienced engineering professional who specialises in supporting the systems engineering process in a maritime construction facility.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the ongoing management and coordination of Systems Engineering processes and ensuring that all system requirements are accurately captured, documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders. This role operates in a highly regulated and technically complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capture, document and maintain systems requirements through the project lifecycle
* Facilitate communication with engineering teams and stakeholders
* Ensure all requirements comply with defence standards and regulatory requirements
* Process efficiency improvements, metrics, error rates etc.
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports on status
About the Role:
* Must be an Australian citizen to hold and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
* Significant experience in requirements management within the defence industry
* Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering or related field
* Professional certification in Requirements Management or Systems Engineering (INCOSE, CSEP)
* Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama)
* Strong experience of systems engineering principles and requirements management processes
* Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements management principles
* Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
