With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Storeperson to join our Port Kembla team. The main function of this role is to receive, maintain and issue store items in line with company policies and operate at a level of quality that exceeds customer expectations. This role is suitable for someone who has automotive stores knowledge and can interpret automotive parts.
What You Will Do
Receive all Automotive inwards goods delivered to the siteAutomotive parts interpreting for Panel and Build Teams; reading and interpreting various OEM systems.Maintain the inventory control system and perform stock takes when requiredBe accountable for inspecting & checking materials for damageHandle and store hazardous materials in compliance with company and other legal requirementsIssue automotive parts, materials and tools to vehicle build staffReturn defective parts to suppliers or customers and follow up for disposition of quarantined itemsMaintain the quarantine log and use the Purchase Order book to order goods as requiredControl all paperwork associated with the store operation
What You Will Bring
Manual Driver’s LicenceForklift Licence and experience in using ForkliftIntermediate Computer skills People person with a 'can do' attitude who is passionate, energetic and shows initiativeOrganised with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDoesn't mind working autonomously as well as in a team
Nice To Have
Experience in the Automotive Stores role and Parts interpretation an advantage
