We're seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a 6-month contract, starting immediately. This role is ideally suited to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa with Big 4 experience in financial services audit, looking to transition into an in-house financial reporting role within financial services.
Key Responsibilities
* Month-end and quarter-end close and financial reporting
* Reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
* Support statutory, regulatory, and management reporting requirements
* Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
* Partner with operations and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
* Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiencies
About You
* CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
* Big 4 experience in financial services audit (banking, leasing, asset finance, or lending)
* Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercial environment
* Able to hit the ground running and manage your workload independently
* Clear communicator and collaborative team player
* Must be on a Working Holiday Visa with full work rights for the contract duration
