Enterprise Risk Management Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and tools that align with the Bank's strategic objectives.
You will be part of the Line 2 Enterprise Risk team and work closely with senior leaders and departments across the Bank, providing expert guidance and practical solutions to enhance operational risk and compliance practices.
The key responsibilities include supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the RBA's enterprise risk management framework, contributing to the development and maintenance of risk policies, tools, and methodologies, and preparing risk insights and reports for executive and board-level committees.
You will also monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments to ensure frameworks remain current, collaborate with departments to uplift risk capability and culture, and support the delivery of risk training and capability-building initiatives.
About You:
* Solid experience (8+ years) in enterprise risk management, preferably in financial services, central banking, or a regulatory environment.
* Strong understanding of risk governance, frameworks, and compliance practices.
* Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across various levels.
* Experience supporting the implementation of risk frameworks, policies, and tools.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Frameworks, Enterprise Risk, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking.
