Your role:
The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, Early Childhood Division, Department of Education is seeking applications for 1 x permanent full time Senior System and Data Analyst (AO6). This position is in the Brisbane City Office.
As Senior System and Data Analyst, your role will involve:
* Collaborating with counterparts in other states and territories to influence and contribute to the development of national systems that underpin early childhood regulatory practice and reporting
* Working with internal stakeholders and developers to capture business requirements, set development priorities, coordinate and monitor feature development, test solutions and support the deployment of systems changes
* Preparing and maintaining systems guidance materials, including knowledge-based articles and work instructions, and actioning updates to SharePoint sites managed by the Systems and Analytics team
* Working with the Systems Officer and Systems Support Officer to resolve complex technical issues and manage support tickets, escalating matters as needed and tracking the progress of tickets to ensure efficient resolution
* Providing in-person and online training to internal stakeholders as part of planned system updates, and preparing communications to support system deployments, consultations and data/reporting activities
* Supporting the Manager, Systems and Analytics as needed with activities relating to the functions of the team.
The ideal candidate:
* Is passionate about improving systems to deliver operational and strategic benefits as part of a team, while having the confidence and capability to drive activities independently with minimal supervision.
* Has the ability to articulate and analyse complex systems problems logically and develop innovative technical solutions in a planned, methodical and structured way in partnership with key stakeholders.
* Is able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure common understanding of problems, possible solutions and new functionality.
* Possesses highly-developed organisation and workload management skills, including the ability to prioritise activities effectively, document and track progress, and provide updates to the Manager, Systems and Analytics.
* Has a positive and flexible approach to their work, and a willingness to support team members to achieve team and organisational objectives.
TheSeniorSystem and Data Analyst reports to the Manager, Systems and Analytics, Standards, Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, Early Childhood, Regulation and Communication Division.
