Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
We are seeking applications for a Clinical Coordinator to provide service coordination across our Mental Wellbeing Services and Raphael Services in Ballarat and Bendigo.
As Clinical Coordinator, you will ensure the provision of a high-quality primary care mental health service for people with mild to moderate mental health and perinatal mental health issues by providing specialist counselling to clients, ensuring strong clinical governance through the provision of supervision and clinical coordination to multidisciplinary team.
The Position
* Provide clinical leadership and support professional development for clinicians, to ensure high quality care and professional practice.
* Ensure cost effective delivery of services and monitoring of efficiency KPI's.
* Provide mental health counselling services, on an individual and group basis, for clients.
* Develop, deliver and evaluate therapeutic programs appropriate to identified primary care mental health needs – for individuals, families, groups, ensuring carer support and self-help support as appropriate.
* Provide leadership, through effective personal, professional communication, and interpersonal capabilities and change management as well as team and strategic capabilities
We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Clinician with demonstrated experience working in mental health services and has current knowledge of the relevant Mental Health Act, National Mental Health Standards and ethical principles.
Successful applicants must have a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational therapy, Social Work or Nursing, and be registered with AHPRA (Social Worker to eligible for registration with the AASW). With your tertiary level qualification, you will be recognised as a mental health profession which entitles eligibility to claim under the 'Better Access to Mental Health Scheme'.
Additionally, a current state drivers license, Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance will be required.

We can offer you
* Salary: $112,265 to $132,042 (dependant on experience and qualification), plus 12% Superannuation
* Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
