Locations: North and South Adelaide
* Available Shifts
* 6:00am – 10:00am
* 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Active) followed by 10:00pm – 6:00am (Passive)Please note: the afternoon, active, and passive components form one continuous shift and cannot be split.
The Role
You will support young people living in out-of-home care by providing:
Active Support
* Meal preparation, dressing, transport, and social activities
* Assistance to plan and achieve daily goals
Health Support
* Administering and documenting medication
* Following individual health support plans
Positive Behaviour Support
* Managing behaviours, triggers, and escalations in line with support strategies
Safeguarding
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both yourself and the young person
* Completing required documentation and incident reports
About You
* Genuine motivation to work with young people
* Availability for rotating rosters, including weekends and overnight shifts
* Current paid Working With Children Check
* National Police Check
* Valid driver's licence
* Current First Aid certificate
* Recent psychological assessment or willingness to obtain one
* Relevant qualification or currently working toward a diploma or degree
