About The Role


We are seeking for a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) to join our skilled multidisciplinary team and assist separating families to make parenting arrangements in the best interests of their children.

This role is Available at Bankstown Family Relationship Centre.

Our family law services support families from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds through innovative programs including therapeutic Post Separation Case Management and group workshops for children impacted by family separation. Our range of programs and partnerships provide opportunities for FDRPs to assist families through collaborative cross-practice models.


About You


To be a suitable candidate for this role, you will have:

* The ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CatholicCare's Mission, Vision and Values.
* Registration as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner in accordance with Attorney Generals.
* Tertiary qualification in working therapeutically with children and families.
* Willingness to apply alternative models of mediation including trauma informed mediation, legally assisted mediation for parenting, property and financial mediation, child informed and child inclusive practice.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, community partners and other professionals.
* Ability to manage data recording systems and phone/online modes of service delivery.
* Flexibility to adapt evolving organisational, legislative and sector priorities and requirements.
* Ability to reflect on clinical work and to participate in clinical supervision.
* Able to work with Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Communities (CALD) and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.
