The Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Area Sales Manager to oversee daily depot operations while driving sales growth for Hi-Tec Oils in the Canberra region.
This dual role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on operational responsibility with customer engagement, sales growth, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day operations of the Hi-Tec Queanbeyan depot, including inventory, dispatch, and stock control.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts- workshops, resellers, and commercial clients.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Canberra area.
* Provide expert product knowledge and support to customers.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
* Oversee safe work practices and depot housekeeping standards.
* Meet and exceed sales and operational targets.
Skills & Requirements
* Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the automotive or industrial sector.
* Experience in warehouse, logistics, or depot operations will be highly regarded.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to balance operational and sales responsibilities.
* Proactive, solution-focused, and commercially minded.
* Current driver's licence (manual preferred).
* MR License highly regarded but not essential.
