Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Team at our Head Office in Docklands. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of the organisation's pay runs and observing the necessary legislation, organisational policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate and up to date payroll information pertaining to all team members across payroll, time, and attendance systems Support the wider payroll team in smoothly rolling out weekly and fortnightly pay runs while being the first point of call for other departments relating to payroll concerns Extract reports from payroll systems and analyse and report on findings Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer inquiries from team members, providing timely and accurate information regarding their pay, deductions, and entitlements Assist with payroll audits and reporting, ensuring all documentation is accurate and properly maintained for internal and external review Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Expertise in payroll delivery across multiple locations, with a strong understanding of industrial instruments In-depth knowledge of legislative requirements, including Payroll, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation Strong problem-solving skills for developing effective solutions to system functionality issues and gaps, with knowledge of ADP or HumanForce preferred Sound understanding of Industrial Relations Legislation, including the ability to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements, while maintaining a commitment to confidentiality and privacy principles
