Position: Marketing Specialist
Task and Responsibilities
* Developing and executing marketing strategies to increase product brand awareness and customer engagement.
* Conduct market research to identify and analyze changing customer needs and preferences, as well as analyze rapidly changing market trends and competitive positioning in the Asian food wholesale industry.
* Identify target audiences (groceries, restaurants, and supermarkets) and ascertain effective channels based on the audience's demographics and preferences to approach them. Channels can include email, telephone calls, and messaging applications.
* Research and analyze data from surveys and customer feedback to develop and implement marketing strategies.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns while ensuring effective alignment with the business goals.
* Develop marketing strategies to expand presence in grocery stores, restaurants, and Asian supermarkets.
* Travel interstate to conduct a market analysis.
* Develop and implement marketing materials such as promotional copies and product descriptions via social media applications.
* Track campaign performance and customer engagement across all marketing channels.
* Assist in planning promotions tied to cultural events and seasonal products.
* Collaborate with wholesale clients and distributors to support joint marketing activities.
* Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to co-ordinate product launches.
Qualifications and Work Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
* If a relevant degree is not held - at least 5 years relevant experience is required.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have
* Familiarity with Asian food products.
* Knowledge related to FMCG industry is an advantage.
* Creative thinker with the ability to develop out-of-the-box marketing strategies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong ability to gather and analyze data and trends.
