The contemporary HR Manager plays a pivotal role in driving organisational performance and supporting senior leadership in achieving strategic objectives.


Job Overview

As the chief human resources professional, you will oversee all HR functions, fostering a high-performance culture that promotes employee engagement, compliance, and best-in-class people practices across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include managing the recruitment process from start to finish, cultivating relationships with academic institutions and industry professionals, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new employees.

You will work closely with department heads to develop strategic workforce plans, anticipate hiring needs, and address skills gaps. This involves creating talent pipelines to support future growth and promoting an inclusive, positive workplace culture.

In addition to recruitment and workforce planning, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance to both employees and managers. You will mediate and resolve employee issues while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

The successful candidate will also oversee HR compliance, policies, compensation, and benefits, ensuring adherence to Australian employment laws, maintaining accurate HR policies, and managing workplace health and safety protocols.

They will be responsible for payroll management, enhancing employee benefits, and implementing retention strategies by leveraging HR data and analytics to track key performance indicators and provide valuable insights to senior leadership.
