The Role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on housing poverty? Do you have a knack for maintenance and repairs? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Trade Assistant to join our Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) team at Community Housing Ltd.
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our vision of a world without housing poverty by ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of CHL properties in the region by undertaking general handy man duties including repairs and maintenance, hands-on gardening, and cleaning tasks. Working closely with our IMS team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our clients.
This role is a fixed-term contract until December ****.

Essential Criteria
Trade qualified in relevant discipline desired but not essential
Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing
White card (or ability to obtain)
Current Driver's License (mandatory)
Satisfactory Police and Working With Children's Check
Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
