This is an exciting opportunity to support the Defence Maintenance Contract Manager in ensuring effective, efficient, and best practice planning, scheduling, resourcing, and progress monitoring.
About the Role
* Undertake a mix of office-based administrative tasks and non-technical support to tradespersons and local Defence clientele in modern maintenance facilities.
* Manage the daily operation of customer-facing reception areas within RAAF Edinburgh.
* Compile and manage inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
* Assist with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
* Support tradespersons via work order management and data entry tasks.
* Assist management teams to prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and ADF priorities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven administrative experience in a similar role within a workshop environment.
* Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Proficient planning, organisational, and communication skills.
* Current Australian State or territory class C Driver's Licence.
* Able to maintain accurate records and reports, schedules, and information management systems.
* Ability to work proactively within a large team environment.
