This role supports the club’s financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning.The RolePrepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecastsProcess membership fees across various tiersRespond to member account and over-the-counter enquiriesManage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliationsEnsure compliance with BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT, and audit requirementsCollaborate with department heads on budget monitoringIdentify process improvements and cost efficienciesAssist with grant applications and reportingSupport the annual audit process and maintain internal controlsCandidate RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to:Hold at least a Bachelor of AccountingHave a minimum of 1 year’s experience in accounting (preferably in hospitality, sports clubs, or non-profits)Be proficient in accounting software such as Xero or MYOB, and ExcelDemonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detailPossess excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesHave knowledge of compliance standards and legislative requirementsShow a high level of relationship management skillsAdditional InformationScenic workplace on the Fremantle coastSupportive and collaborative team cultureStaff discounts on dining and eventsAccess to club facilitiesApplication InstructionsApply online and respond to the employer’s application questions regarding work rights, experience, qualifications, and skills.
