Senior emergency nursing leadership opportunity at QEII
Join QEII Jubilee Hospital's Emergency Department as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (NG7) in a permanent part-time role (64 hours per fortnight). You'll provide advanced emergency nursing leadership, drive data quality and performance improvement, and support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department.

Your new role:
In this senior role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and consultancy within the Emergency Department, supporting clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement and professional practice. Working in partnership with nursing and medical leadership, you will strengthen clinical decision-making, support patient flow, and promote safe, consistent and evidence-based emergency care.
You Will
* Provide advanced emergency nursing leadership and clinical consultancy
* Lead and support clinical governance, quality and patient safety initiatives
* Support patient flow, escalation and management of clinical and behavioural risk
* Lead audits, incident review, learning and continuous improvement activities
* Contribute to development and review of clinical policies, procedures and guidelines
About You
You are an experienced emergency nurse with strong leadership capability, advanced clinical judgement and a passion for quality and safety. You communicate confidently, influence practice positively and thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.

* Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, quality and risk management
* High-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
