Join Trident Services and play a vital part in international aviation security. As a Last Point of Departure Officer (LPOD), contribute to the safety and efficiency of airport operations through detailed screening, access control, and customer support.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Site Manager, the LPOD Officer helps manage access at international boarding gates, conducts thorough searches, and monitors restricted areas. This hands-on position protects the integrity of international flights in line with established security and regulatory standards.
Permanent Part-time positions available plus Team Leader positions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete thorough screening and inspections of property, catering items, and aircraft.
- Oversee access control and verify travel documentation at designated checkpoints.
- Record and maintain accurate security logs.
- Provide professional customer service, assist with lost property, and respond to queries.
- Support health, safety, and operational procedures, including regular training and compliance activities.
**What You'll Bring**
Essential:
- Ability to obtain an ASIC Card.
- Security Licence (relevant state or territory).
- Effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work various shifts.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Customer service experience, preferably in regulated environments or aviation security.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in airport security or similar settings.
