Structural Reliability is a critical component of ensuring the safety and efficiency of mining operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise to stakeholders across various functions, including project, production, and maintenance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert advice on structural equipment integrity
* SUPPORTING asset management initiatives through remediation plan development and identification of improvement opportunities
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
* Identifying opportunities for technical improvements and the adoption of new technology
* Controlling and maintaining blueprints, standards, specifications, procedures, and drawings
* Reviewing and approving structural engineering requests as part of our Management of Change process
* Providing technical guidance during safety incident and root cause analysis investigations
* Contributing to budget and capital planning
* Closing out projects by documenting final design documentation and closing activities in SPO

To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* 7-10 years' experience in reliability engineering with a mining producer
* Project experience in bridge construction, culverts, roads, and inspections
* Asset management experience and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
