Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for
appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed
term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident,

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the

Position
Profile: The Clinical Consultant carries out audits
of health facilities in order to monitor standards and assess
compliance with relevant standards/guidelines.
The role provides
specialist clinical expertise and advice in relation to the
licensing and accreditation of facilities, and participates in and
supports processes whereby new standards and monitoring systems for
licensing are identified and agreed.
You will also provide clinical
advice and administrative support to working parties set up to
develop standards and contribute to the strategic direction of the
Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Directorate by participating as
a member of the Licensing and Accreditation Regulatory Unit
team.
