**About the Role**
Here at BOQ Group we have been busy working behind the scenes building out our fastest-growing team - Group Risk - for an exciting and ambitious future-state.

Reporting to the Senior Partner Assurance Technology Risk, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and real-time insights to key internal stakeholders within each business unit on key technology risks and controls, frameworks and processes. The role will have a strong focus on advocating a customer centric risk culture by assisting in embedding an operating and engagement model with the business that sees the Technology Assurance team as a key partner to the business it supports. This will include end-to-end execution of assurance reviews in accordance with the Line 2 Assurance plan, working collaboratively and in partnership with the Operational Risk and Assurance Team and the Business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Leverage existing data sources of information (i.e. risk register, incidents, policies and procedures, obligations etc.) to conduct assurance;
- Building out the assurance methodology, and processes that underpin the methodology;
- Where applicable, provide a follow up review with the business to ensure gaps have been remediated ;
- Identify and implement opportunities to advance the maturity of the assurance landscape;
- Identify gaps and provide support to upskill the assurance team, and Line 1, as required;
- Develop, design and implement value add assurance reports to provide real-time reporting to key stakeholders; and
- Support in the design, development and maintenance of an Assurance Map that provides a holistic view of the assurance landscape across all 3 Lines of Defence.

As an experienced Risk Leader, you'll join us with extensive exposure to the assurance, risk management and/or audit world within the banking and financial services landscape.
