Overview
Vassallo Constructions is a family focused civil construction and infrastructure contractor operating in Central Queensland since 1997, undertaking a variety of project types and contracts up to $50M. The company employs a multi-skilled workforce including plant operators, truck drivers, pipelayers, concreters and labourers. We are seeking experienced Civil Excavator Operators for immediate start in the Mackay area.
Role: Excavator 4.5t – 35t. Multi-skilled operators will be highly regarded. These positions are based in Mackay and are not FIFO, suiting applicants living locally.
Responsibilities
* Operate mobile plant as required for civil construction projects in the Mackay region.
* Contribute to project delivery with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
* Relevant Tickets / Certificates of Competency to operate mobile plant.
* Valid Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card).
* Current valid Driver's licence.
* Previous experience in Civil Works.
* Final Trim and GPS experience is desirable.
