We have an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to join our growing team in the Sutherland Shire suburbs region, supporting elderly clients living in their homes and making a genuine difference every day with flexible hours, rewarding work, and a great team culture.
About The Role
* Your role will involve supporting clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community.
* Delivering personal care with dignity and helping clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm, reliable companionship.
What we can offer you
* Organizational support by having dedicated mentors/team leaders.
* Paid induction and professional development training.
* Wide variety of shifts available Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (minimum 3 days availability required).
What we are looking for
* A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
* Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
* Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
* Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
* A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
* Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
