The Beerwah Hotel, located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, is known for its strong local following, quality food, and lively atmosphere. Alongside our busy bistro, the venue also operates multiple retail outlets, making it a dynamic and fast-paced business.
We are currently looking for an experienced Bistro Manager to lead our team and continue to grow our food and service offering.
About the role
This is a hands-on management position where you will be leading from the front, working closely with your team to deliver a high-quality dining experience. You will be responsible for day-to-day bistro operations, staff supervision, and ensuring service runs smoothly during busy periods.
What we’re looking for
* At least 2 years’ experience in a management role within a busy hotel bistro or restaurant
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and direct staff
* A genuine passion for hospitality, food and customer experience
* High standards of presentation and attention to detail
* Ability to stay calm and lead effectively under pressure
* Confident communication skills with both customers and team members
* A proactive mindset with ideas to grow and improve the bistro offering
* Experience with functions is desirable but not essential
* Current RSA and RSG
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
