Overview
Mental Health Screening Nurse - Fully Remote. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mental Health Screening Nurse to join our client’s clinical trials team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and ethical enrollment of participants into clinical studies for Clinical Depression. The Screening Nurse will assess potential participants against protocol-specific eligibility criteria, perform clinical evaluations, and support the trial team in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-screening and screening visits for potential trial participants.
- Review medical histories, perform physical assessments, and evaluate inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Collect and process biological samples (e.g., blood, urine) as required by study protocols.
- Administer questionnaires and informed consent documents, ensuring participant understanding.
- Document all screening procedures accurately in source documents and electronic systems.
- Collaborate with investigators and coordinators to determine participant eligibility.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Valuable Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical standards.
- Monitor and report adverse events or protocol deviations during the screening process.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and protocol updates.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
- Specialization in Mental Health / Psychiatry.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; prior experience in clinical trials preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical research protocols and GCP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and clinical trial management systems.
