3MP is a locally owned sheet-metal and roll-forming specialist, crafting custom rural and domestic sheds, fencing and roofing since 2011. Operating from a modern, purpose-built factory in Millicent, South Australia, we deliver high-quality industrial products to clients statewide and interstate. We're scaling up our shed and fencing divisions and seeking a hands-on leader to elevate our welding and boilermaking operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of welders and boilermakers
• Execute and inspect welds on mild, stainless and structural steel for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Facilitate daily toolbox talks, conduct hazard assessments and enforce WHS compliance
• Collaborate with the production scheduler, planners and site supervisors to resolve fabrication or installation issues
• Analyse throughput data to identify process bottlenecks and recommend equipment or workflow improvements
• Deliver on-the-job training and formal competency assessments for apprentices and labourers
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Certificate III in Boilermaking, Welding or Fabrication (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' hands-on welding/boilermaking experience, with supervisory exposure or a readiness to lead
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding plus sheet-metal roll-forming
• Skilled in reading shop drawings, blueprint interpretation and welding symbols
• Strong leadership, communication and team-building abilities
• Current Australian driver's licence
Desirable
• Experience in shed and fencing fabrication or installation
• Forklift ticket
