We are seeking experienced HSEQ Coordinators to strengthen our safety culture and support compliance across demolition, remedial and civil projects in Queensland. Working within a broad portfolio including Tier One Mining and Construction projects, this is your opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As an HSEQ Coordinator, you'll report directly to our National HSEQ Manager and partner with project teams to ensure safe project execution and compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures, and client requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
* Implementing WHS systems and supporting site teams
* Providing WHS advice, information, and consultation to workers
* Conducting incident, injury, and hazard reporting and assisting investigations
* Reviewing subcontractor SWMS and monitoring permit-to-work systems
* Performing daily and weekly onsite safety inspectionsli>
* Delivering site-specific and mobile plant inductions
* Verifying emergency plans, plant checks, hazardous substance registers, and site housekeeping
* Driving continuous improvement in WHS processes and culture
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proactive, detail-focused WHS professional who thrives in construction environments. You'll have:
* 3+ years' experience in WHS advisory or HSEQ roles
* Formal qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks (OFSC, ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001)
* Experience preparing WHS documentation and contributing to risk mitigation
* Excellent interpersonal skills to positively influence site teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WHS systems
* White Card (General Construction Induction)
* Additional training in risk management, auditing, or incident investigation (desirable)
