Job Title: Music Program Administrator with Optional Peripatetic Tutoring

Position Type: Part-time role (hours based on individual capability and capacity)

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and well‑organised Music Program Administrator to support and coordinate the instrumental and vocal program at our school. This is a part‑time role, with the weekly hours shaped around the successful applicant's capability and experience.
Applicants with instrumental expertise may also choose to take on one‑on‑one peripatetic tutoring or ensemble leadership, paid at tutor/ensemble rates.
About the Role (Administration – Core Component)
* Manage lesson scheduling, tutor timetables and room allocations
* Coordinate enrolments, parent communication and attendance tracking
* Support concerts, rehearsals and music events
* Maintain instruments, equipment records and program documentation
* Liaise with staff, tutors, families and the Co‑Curricular Coordinator
* Contribute to the continued growth of the school's music program
Optional Add‑On Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality instrumental or vocal tuition (optional)
* Prepare students for performances, exams and recitals
Ensemble Leadership (groups of 3+)
* Lead small groups, bands, choirs or ensemble rehearsals
* Support students in developing musicianship and teamwork
Pay Structure
Part‑time Administration:
Approx. $33–$45 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Approx. $60–$90 per hour
Ensemble Leadership (groups of 3+):
Approx. $90–$110 per hour
All rates will remain within the above ranges and will reflect the successful applicant's qualifications.

* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Effective communication with parents, tutors and staff
* Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
* NSW Working With Children Check
* Desirable: musical background or AMEB experience
