The Opportunity: Reporting to the Area Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer plays an important role in keeping our Cairns hotels running smoothly and well supplied.
This is a varied, hands-on position that supports purchasing, receiving and stock control.
A multi-site support role, you will work across Crystalbrook Collection's Cairns properties, supporting day-to-day procurement activity and providing coverage when Store Supervisors are on leave.
This requires a high level of reliability, organisation and confidence working independently, while still being part of a broader, supportive team.
Your days will be active and structured, involving receiving and checking deliveries, managing stock movement and storage, processing documentation and ensuring goods are distributed accurately to departments.
You will work closely with Kitchen, Food Beverage, Finance and Stewarding teams, taking pride in keeping operations organised and running seamlessly behind the scenes.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday role from 7:00am–3:00pm.
The Talent: You are a dependable, organised and practical professional who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through.
You are comfortable working independently across multiple sites, adaptable to changing priorities, and bring a steady, solutions-focused approach to your role.
Experience in hospitality, warehousing or an operational environment will be highly regarded; however, reliability, attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
You will bring: Experience in procurement, stores, stock control or a similar operational role (highly regarded but not essential) Confidence working autonomously and supporting multiple locations as required A strong work ethic and comfort in a physical, on-your-feet role Basic computer skills and confidence entering information into systems (training provided) Strong attention to detail when receiving goods and checking documentation An understanding of safe manual handling and storage practices Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach Why Us: You will work alongside exceptional people in a supportive, collaborative and agile environment.
